Calcium Channel Blockers Calcium supplements may decrease the effects of calcium channel blockers, like nifedipine (Procardia), verapamil (Calan SR, Verelan), diltiazem (Cardizem, Cartia XT, others), and others.
To be safe, make sure to regularly check your blood pressure if you’re taking calcium supplements and calcium channel blockers simultaneously.
